Okay. It’s September 11th and we’ve obviously been slacking with posts, BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, we have a TON of ideas coming in along with all of our new team members! I don’t recommend checking out the Flower Boys right now because there are a few edits that need to be made, but it’ll be updated super soon!! ASIDE FROM THAT, we’re starting a subscription so it’ll be easier to be engaged with us (comments, posts, etc.) and I’m SO excited for it! Our team upgraded from 9 people to about 15 (roughly). You guys have no idea how pumped the new members are, and they’re practically overflowing with ideas. They’ll be introduced shortly after our site’s construction is finished. Stay tuned!!!
ANYWAYS. On a more personal note, my senior year started August 22nd, and it’s been so awesome. My classes are engaging, for the most part, and I’ve already applied to a few colleges so I feel buckled in and a lot less stressed out than when I started. For those of you that are reading and aren’t seniors, teachers really drill college, finiacial aid, and everything else into your head that causes you to have emotional breakdowns (which is appropriate and expected), but it’s okay! Everything gets sorted out. This is coming from someone who has no idea what exactly I want to major in or anything related to college. So if you’re looking forward to senior year but people are discouraging you, trust me, it’s definitely something to look forward to, but try to get everything down and remember you’re basically training yourself for college. Aside from the educational knowledge, I can’t express to you how good I feel about myself. I’m obviously not someone people fall in love with at first sight, and I wake up every morning with bed head, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have wishful thinking. I may be wearing falsies but at least I feel confident enough to make eye contact with strangers. I must also admit, wearing heels to school makes me feel like I’m walking on a runway rather than the school hallway.
